Delhi is now the second worst hit state from COVID-19 in India

Delhi, on 22nd June, recorded 2909 fresh cases which tallied up to 62,655 of total cases reported up until Monday. This number bumped up Delhi in the list of top states hit with COVID-19 by one position. Now Delhi is the second worst-hit state after Maharashtra and surpassing Tamil Nadu.
Today marks the 91st day since the nationwide lockdown came into effect to check the spread of the virus. There have been 4,40,215 lakh Covid19 positive cases recorded so far with 14,011 casualties. States like Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and Gujrat continue to record the highest positive cases and deaths. With this, the recovery rate is continuously increasing and stands at a little over 56 percent which is providing a glimmer of hope in this dreadful situation.
Globally, more than 4.7 lakh people have died so far with 90.7 lakh confirmed cases.
