Mirzapur Season 2: Characters and traits you can learn from them

Date

Released in 2018, Mirzapur became one of the highest-grossing and most-searched Indian Web series. For the last few years, OTT platforms haver paved their way to the hearts of the Indian audience. Though there are backlashes and controversies as well, many Indian-origin series are obtaining profits.

Revolving around violence and lawlessness, the series depicts the prevailing crimes in the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh. With heavyweights like- Pankaj Tripathi, Khulbushan Kharabanda, Rajesh Talang, and Rasika Duggal, the series is loved for its artistic value as well.

While chances of learning anything from a crime-thriller series are low, here we listed some of the traits you can learn from Mirzapur characters.

Rati Shankar Shukla – Love for the mother tongue

Portrayed by Shubhrajyoti Bharat, Rati Shankar Shukla loved “Hindi” alphabets like anything. The greyish character of Rati Shukla makes him one of my favorites.

Guddu Pandit – Courage

Mirzapur Season 2

The male protagonist of the series played by Ali Fazal, Guddu Pandit is one of the main characters of the series. Since Ali’s origin is from Lucknow, it was easier for him to understand and grasp the dialect.

Kaleen Bhaiya – Family Man

Mirzapur Season 2

The portrayal by Pankaj Tripathi as Mirzapur’s mafia expanded his fan following like anything. Even though he’s the antagonist of the series, he’s a pure family man who could do anything for his son.

Munna Bhaiya – Respect for elders

Mirzapur Season 2

Divyendu Sharma, who played Munna Tripathi is the most hated character throughout the series. Despite being ignored by his love-interest, family, and everyone. He respects elderly people.

Compounder- Loyalty

Mirzapur Season 2

Loved for his work in Paatal Lok, Abhishek Banarjee’s role as Compounder was one of the darkest characters. Compounder’s loyalty to his Munna led him to death and his master grieved for him.

Bablu Pandit – Business

Mirzapur Season 2

Played by Vikrant Massey, Bablu Pandit was a common man who was trying to make a living. He was a smart guy who knew how to negotiate things and generate revenue for the Kaleen Bhaiya.
