To ensure the smooth operation of the G20 Summit and the safety of all attendees, several areas will be designated as Regulated and Controlled Zones. Commuters are strongly advised to avoid journeys to these areas.
North-South Corridor:
- Route: Ring Road – Ashram Chowk – Sarai Kale Khan – Delhi-Meerut Expressway – Noida Link Road – Pusta Road – Yudhistir Setu – ISBT Kashmere Gate – Ring Road – Majnu Ka Tila.
- Alternative Route: AIIMS Chowk – Ring Road – Dhaula Kuan – Ring Road – Brar Square – Naraina Flyover – Rajouri Garden Junction – Ring Road – Punjabi Bagh Junction – Ring Road – Azad Pur Chowk.
East-West Corridor:

Closed:
- All offices, restaurants, malls, and markets will be closed from September 8-10.
- The Supreme Court will remain closed from September 8-10.
Open:
- Special passes are required for entry from outside the area.
- Non-destined vehicles will be diverted to Eastern and Western Peripheral Expressways.
- Heavy and light goods vehicles, except those carrying essential commodities, are not allowed into Delhi.
- Metro and bus services will operate with restrictions.
- Medical emergency vehicles will have uninterrupted access.
- A dedicated ambulance assistance control room will be in operation from midnight on September 7 to 11:59 pm on September 11.
Railway and Metro Restrictions
- Road journeys to New Delhi Railway station from Ajmeri Gate side will be affected from 1 am to 1 pm on September 10.
- Road journeys to Old Delhi station from Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Road side will also be affected during the same period.
- Passengers heading to Hazrat Nizamuddin station are encouraged to use Metro services; special North-South and East-West corridors are available for road journeys.
- Passengers going to the airport are advised to use Metro services, especially the Airport Express Line, connecting New Delhi Station to Dwarka Sector 21 Station via IGI Airport T3.
