Leander Adrian Paes
Leander Adrian Paes was born to Goan parents and is an Indian male tennis professional player. He is regarded as one of the greatest tennis players in doubles, also holds the highest records for most double wins in the prestigious Davis Cup and has achieved the rare men’s doubles/mixed doubles at the 1999 Wimbledon championship.
Remo Fernandez
Remo Fernandez is a prominent Goan pop/rock/Indian fusion star and playback Bollywood singer. His discography includes songs like ‘Pyaar to hona hi tha’ and ‘Ek hogye hum or tum’. His most memorable work is the song ‘India, I Cry’ (2009) and ‘India Against Corruption’ in support of the 2011 Anna Hazare movement of the same name.
