An 80-year-old couple running an eatery in the Malviya Nagar area of South Delhi had lost all their hopes, as nobody was consuming their food. They are spending more on cooking and are unprofitable as people favor international food chains over local food stalls.

The street food culture of Delhi is badly affected. Many people are not consuming street foods due to safety and hygiene reasons. Thus, small businesses like Baba ka Dhaba are getting no customers to consume their food.

A video posted on Instagram by a food reporter and blogger Gaurav Wasan aka @youtubeswadofficial got over 7 million views on Instagram that eventually brought the much-needed smile on their faces.

Gaurav Wasan, a food reporter who worked with different media organizations is the man behind this viral video. He is covering different food stalls and places where you can eat tasty food at affordable rates.

To support this cause, different Delhi-based Social media influencers shared Gaurav Wasan’s IGTV video on their handles and visited Baba ka Dhaba which helped the couple

Within 16 hours of the upload, the video got hundreds of shares, uploads, and likes, from different social media accounts. As of now,  the original video by @youtubeswaofficial on Instagram is liked by more than 700k people.

How can you reach Baba ka Dhaba?

Baba ka Dhaba is located in the Shivalik Colony of Malviya Nagar. So, you can get off at Malviya Nagar metro station and visit the Dhaba in Shivalik Colony which is approximately 1 or 1.5 kilometers from the station.
