At a glance: Serving soulful Chole Kulche every morning since 1920, this street space popularly known as ‘Lotan Kulche Chole’, set in the interiors of Old Delhi is more of a tradition being carried forward by Lotan’s grandson Mahaveer.
The micro view: For those who love to begin their day on a spicy note, this street stall selling mouth-watering chole kulche garnished with chopped onions, juicy tomatoes, powdered spices and a generous squeeze of lime in the labyrinth of tiny passages of Old Delhi is as good as it gets.
Use of butter and homemade spices make this space running successfully since 1920 that was then started by Lotan and at present is handled by his grandson Mahaveer. Though they don’t have any plans of expansion in other areas of the city, so, in case you manage to navigate to Chandni Chowk area in the morning any day, do visit this stall and trust us it’s surely worth the pain.
