Life Of An 80-Year-Old Toy Seller At Lajpat Nagar

There is an 80-year-old frail man who sells toys for a living. Everyone is urged when they visit Lajpat Nagar to go and visit this man and buy a few toys or even just click a selfie with him and hashtag it as – #DelhiHelp.

This story was shared by Arvind Rai on Facebook:

At his age, he shouldn’t have to be selling toys. He should be resting and being taken care of by loved ones. Poverty is not an accident, like slavery and apartheid. It is man-made and can be removed by the actions of human beings like you and me. It’s essential to respect people like him who are still trying to get through the day. Respect his feelings because even if he doesn’t mean anything to you, it could mean everything to them. Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive.

Both men and women should feel free to be sensitive.
Both men and women should feel free to be strong.
