Delhi Govt Entrepreneurship University: Admissions Begin Tomorrow

Delhi Government’s Skill and Entrepreneurship University begins its first batch of admissions tomorrow, i.e. on the 6th of July. The admissions will be open for 39 programs and the university will admit 6,000 students in its first batch, out of which 1,500 will be for degree courses and 4,500 for diploma courses.

The proposal for the university was presented by deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the 2019 budget speech, and it was passed in December of the same year. The degree programs at the university include job-oriented courses such as BA, BBA, BCA, BCom, BSc, BMS and BTech degrees. Full-time and part-time diploma courses in subjects such as applied arts, automobile engineering, electrical engineering, fashion design, pharmacy and printing technology are also offered.

Students applying to the diploma courses will have qualify a common entrance test to confirm a seat at the university. Students interested in the degree courses will be evaluated on the basis of class XII marks. Master’s courses in Computer Application and MTech Tool Engineering will also be offered.
