On Wednesday (13 April), Delhi logged in 299 new cases, shooting up the positivity rate to 2.49% After March 4, when 304 cases were recorded, COVID infections had shown a steady decline. Out of 9,745 Covid beds in hospitals, only 43 are occupied at present. Of these, 43, 32 are occupied by suspected Covid patients. Of the 11 confirmed Covid cases, five are in the ICU and five are on oxygen support.

Earlier this month, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority had restricted all COVID restrictions, as well as the Rs. 500 fine for not wearing masks.
