Greetings!
Welcome to Delhipedia’s Heritage Walks!
This Sunday, we are taking you on a tour of the Qutub Complex. In a walk spreading over two hours, we will see different eras of the Delhi Sultanate come to life. The complex contains some 40 monuments, of which we will cover the most important ones.
Itinerary
We will meet at 5 PM at the entrance of Qutub Minar Complex. Please do not buy tickets as they are included in your walk fees.
Of the monuments that we will witness are the unfinished Alai Minar, the beautifully crafted Iltutmish tomb, the Khilji Madarsa and the tomb of Alauddin Khilji, as well as his Alai Darwaza and finally the Quwwat ul Islam mosque, the Iron Pillar and the Qutub Minar in all its glory. We will wait for dusk to set in so that we can see the Minar all lit up.
