1. Aatishi

A graduate from St. Stephens College, this Rhodes scholar from Oxford University has worked round-the-clock to revolutionise Delhi’s education system. This one-woman army started out as a school teacher and rose up to became an advisor to the deputy CM Manish Sisodia for the Aam Aadmi Party. Currently an MLA from Kalkaji, this shero has helped fulfil the dreams of thousands of children across Delhi.

2. Gurpreet Wasi

A digital entrepreneur and social change maker, Ms. Wasi worked sincerely to provide relief during the pandemic, especially in terms of food and ration. She spread the relief to Mumbai, and gathered support from all over.

3. Abhinandita Mathur

Advisor on culture to deputy CM Manish Sisodia, she revolutionised cultural policies by bringing in inclusivity, decentralisation and diversification. Her vision has given a voice to the many local craftspersons who were earlier on the margins. She is also the mind behind many cultural festivals happening in Delhi.

4. Seema Dhaka

Head Constable Seema Dhaka made the news by tracing 76 missing children from Delhi and beyond. With the help of a team, she reunited many kids with their families and received an out-of-turn promotion. Within three months, she was promoted to ASI.

5. Hana Mohsin Khan

Better known from her twitter handle @girlpilot_, she went viral in 2020 when she was called the ‘chhori’ in the cockpit by a shocked passenger. Her tweet garnered cheers from netizens with many retweets and comments. This story inspired many and was a refreshing peek into a more equal world.
